
Eric arthur bliar is know'n by his "pen name" of George orwell. Eric was born in Bengal india on june 25 1903. when he was one him and his mom moved to england. while he lived in england he published his first poem " Awake, young men of england", oh! think of the war lord's mailed fist, that is striking at england today. Because of this poem he got himself a scholarship to eton college where he spent 1917 to 1921 at. sfter college eric tried to follow his father's career to be a police officer in burma. during this time eric decided to become a writer so he moved to paris where he would attempt to write short stories. while writing stories he dstroyed them all becuase no body would publish them. now eric wanted to right for the "common man". he lived as we would call a ho-bo. he learned what it was like to live in other economic classes. during this time he wrote "urban rides" and and " the road to wiggan pier. eric then was a teacher for somw time in 1932 before he moved to london to manage a book store. then in 1936 eric got married to eileen o'shaughnessy. soon after they got married in 1944 they adopted a child. after a while he had been making his favorite novel 'animal farm". Then in 1950, after marrying again, Eric arthur bliar suddenly died.
